Description: Capt. Larry Simns, President of the Maryland Watermen’s Association, passed away on March 14, 2013. He was 75 and died peacefully at home with his family. Larry was President of the MWA for 40 years and he was the only President the association ever had. He will be deeply missed by the Maryland seafood and commercial fishing industry, his network of friends and colleagues all across the country, his wife Carolyn, his children and grandchildren.
