Description: One of a kind photo of two old friends taken at the O.C. Fishing Center. Bill Burton & Capt. Bob Gower.
The photo was taken in 2008 when I was doing a story about fishing on the Bay Bee for flounder. Bob Gower was the Captain and Bill came to fish on the boat that day because he was an old friend of Gower's. The Bay Bee is a head boat out of O.C. Fishing Center and only does bay fishing. Bob was also an offshore captain for many years but for the last 15 that I knew him he has been doing the Bay Bee. He also passed away 2 years ago and was a terrific guy who really knew his fishing. I learned alot from him.

Ron, Thanks for the image uploads. Do you recall what year you took this photo of Burton and Gower? I'm not familiar with Gower. Is he an offshore charter boat captain, or what?
