Those old fishing photos bring back some good memories. Inky and I spent a great deal of time together on the water, in Pennsylvania and in Maryland. Without a doubt we were true friends for perhaps 40 years. I probably have over 1000 slides of Inky at all sorts of fishing holes.
Some where around here I have a photo of Inky looking at a pile of tangled monofilament. He called those gigantic knots "Hey Daddy" knots...... He said every time one of his kids had a messy knot they would yell, "Hey Daddy." If you are in contact with Denny Moore, tell him to stop by the forum. The image below was taken just a few years after Inky and I met, and long before you were born or any of his sons married. Image Title: Trouble |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe, I have never seen this photo of my late grandfather. It brought a tear to my eye to see him one of the ways I remember him. Image below from Joe Reynolds - Image Title: image gallery Image Info: Inky Moore, September 1985. Inky was from Carlisle, Pennsylvania, a stone's throw from the Letort. Inky served as president of the Pennsylvania Fish Commission, loved trout fishing and going after breaking stripers on Chesapeake Bay. Larger image available! Click image to see it. |
